The Galax City Council is accepting letters of interest from candidates that wish to be considered for an appointment to the Galax School Board. The appointment is for a three (3) year term beginning July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026. Candidates must be residents of the City of Galax and a qualified voter.
Letters of interest shall be submitted by March 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM to Keith Barker, Interim City Manager, at 111 E. Grayson St, Galax, VA 24333.
