The Galax City Council is accepting letters of interest from candidates that wish to be considered for two appointments to the Galax School Board. The appointments are for three (3) year terms beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027. Candidates must be residents of the City of Galax (inside city limits), and a qualified voter. Letters of interest shall be submitted by Friday, March 29, 2024 at 5:00 PM to Michael Burnette, City Manager, at 111 E. Grayson St, Galax, VA 24333.
