The Galax Planning Commission will meet at their normally scheduled date and time (as called) at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023. Following adjournment of the normal meeting, pursuant to VA Code, the Commission will hold a work session for the purpose of discussion regarding the Creekside Small Area Plan, proposed Urban Development Area, and other similar planning initiatives that need to be reviewed and considered for approval and inclusion into the Comprehensive Plan.

Please take note, members of the City Council have been invited to participate in the Planning Commission’s work session directly following adjournment of the Commission’s normal meeting; three or more members of the Galax City Council may be present.
