The City of Galax will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 13 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be called on the agenda, in the City Council chamber of the Galax Municipal Building, 111 E. Grayson St., to solicit public input on amending the FY25 operating budget for the City of Galax. The purpose of the amendment is to adjust General Fund, Utility Fund, and Storm Water Fund revenue and expenditures for updated projections. A full detail of the proposed budget amendment is available in the Office of the Director of Finance in the Municipal Building.
