Galax City Council is seeking an applicant for the Galax Board of Zoning Appeals to fulfill an unexpired term which began July 1, 2023. The appointment is made through the Circuit Court Judge and the term will run through June 30, 2028. The Board of Zoning Appeals hears and decides appeals from the decision of the Planning Commission or Zoning Administrator concerning zoning decisions.
Any Galax City resident interested in serving on this board is asked to send a letter of interest to the City Manager’s office, 111 E. Grayson Street, Galax, VA 24333, no later than June 3, 2024.
